3 Designer Collaborations We’re Excited About

This fall, you’ll be one step closer to looking like your style icon (in an affordable way, that is). These three brands have teamed up with some of the finest influencers in fashion, blogger & illustrator Garance Doré, it girl Alexa Chung and stylist & editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld, to create a fashion line that will make you wish it was a permanent collaboration.

1. AG Jeans and Alexa Chung

After a successful debut line earlier this year, AG Jeans and Alexa Chung also co-designed a fall collection. It includes a white t-shirt featuring an image of herself – the selfie t-shirt -, high waist skinny jeans, polkadot blouses, A-line skirts, denim playsuits, flared jeans and suede coats and was inspired by an imaginary girl gang. Alexa’s favorites are the A-line skirt in a 1970s style and the little blouses. “I do like a blouse,” she told The Telegraph in a recent interview. Take a look at the vintage inspired campaign.

2. Uniqlo and Carine Roitfeld

Although we haven’t seen any of the designs yet, we love Carine Roitfeld’s signature style and her statement – “I started from the idea of clothes that I would want to wear myself, and developed this into clothes that anyone would want to wear, a woman’s ideal of clothes that make her feel transformed when she wears them” – reassures us that the collection she co-designed with retail brand Uniqlo will be just as stunning as she is.

We hope for pencil skirts, chique blouses, statement coats and leather trousers. (And we also look forward to another Uniqlo-collaboration this fall, with the former creative director of Hermès, Christophe Lemaire.

When a French brand and a French blogger/illustrator team up, we know for sure we will want to have whatever they’ll come up with. Our favorite item from the Equipment x Garance Doré collaboration is the red lip-print ‘boyfriend blouse’, based upon an image that Doré has been drawing since her beginnings as an illustrator. “So I was happy to get the chance to use it in a different way”, she told Stylist. The collection also includes scarfs, iPhone cases, stationary and notebooks. Take a look at it here.
