The third collection that JW Anderson designed for Spanish fashion house Loewe was all about logos – sometimes ‘subtile’ on a sweater or dress, sometimes not so with pants and suits covered in Loewe’s name – and transparency.
There were transparent pants made out of PVC (but in a different way than we saw at Wanda Nylon the day before) and transparent shoes, but also large golden fish necklaces, dresses and pants covered in a mosaic of mirrors, a suede coat and tracksuit and a beautiful light brown leather dress.
I love Loewe since JW Anderson became their creative director. This morning, on the fourth day of Paris Fashion Week, he presented the spring/summer 2016 collection of the fashion house that is known for it’s leather craftsmanship. Watch this video from WWD for a behind the scenes with Anderson where he illustrates the details of some of the pieces.
These were my favorites.
