This years H&M designer collaboration is once again one worth standing for in line for, for a few hours on a cold November morning (or refreshing H&M’s webpage about a hundred times for five hours straight). Today we got a glance of the collection shown on a picture of designer Olivier Rousteing posing with Jourdan Dunn and Kendall Jenner and ELLE France posting one of the outfits on Instagram. The good news is, the collection seems to be based on some key pieces from earlier Balmain collections!
The red skirt Jourdan Dunn is wearing resembles the one from Balmain’s autumn/winter 2013 collection and the top resembles an item from the autumn/winter 2014 collection. The jacket Kendall is wearing appears to be inspired by Balmain’s autumn/winter 2012 collection.
And remember that dress Kim Kardashian wore from the fall 2012 collection, which supposedly cost £12,000? Well, the one ELLE France posted looks a bit like a black version of that one.
The collection hits the stores on November 5.
